Hello everyone,

So another "Hey Presto" Show has been and gone, and with it the successes and disappointments that accompany most shows (not just ours I hasten to add).

For me the whole show was a success, apart from one participant failing to arrive. No doubt we will hear why eventually. I won't write a report of the show, as I know that it is fully reported on by Stevie B elsewhere in this month's "Billet".

I sat in on an audition a few weeks ago by a quite young applicant, and when I say he was good, I mean GOOD. He is certain to be an asset, not only to the Bradford Magic Circle, but also to magic in general.

My apologies in advance, but I greatly regret not being able to be at the Sean Taylor lecture, as I am away that weekend, Friday to Sunday. However, I know from his reputation that you are in for an experience of sheer magic.

By now most of you will know that we are having to look (and find) alternative meeting rooms due to circumstances out of our control, but be assured that your committee are looking hard and fast. However, if anyone knows of suitable premises please let any committee person know. It will certainly be looked into.
