Hello again to all BMC members. Once again we had an average turn out for our April meeting where we had Jeremy & Cheryl of Practical Magic to entertain us. 'Entertain' being the operative word for those who were not there, for we had a great evening. I also expect that I missed a cracking evening for the Sean Taylor visit. No doubt it will be reported on in this issue. The serious business of looking for future HQ premises goes on. We have had a good response from the short T & A article, and only last nigh (Tuesday 24th April) I had an interesting call from Bradford Industrial Museum who were very keen to have us at their premises. This as they own the 'Houdini Lock'. If you have not seen this item it is well worth a visit. Regretfully, this venue would be financially beyond our means for a Friday night. However, I will comment further on this at our May meeting, when no doubt we can be updated on any other venues seen so far. Meanwhile friends, we keep looking and listening. |
