23 members turned up on a wet Friday night in January for the Bradford Magic Circle’s Party Night.
Keith & Steve Gore had brought along a few party games. Some were based around spot the difference or find the hidden word; whilst one was based upon reminiscences of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, which turned out to reveal who could remember things and who merely imagined them.
However, the highlight of the evening was definitely Stevie B’s Film Charades, where people had to mime out the chosen film. Whilst some of the film titles were reasonably easy to act out, Paul Bestwick did find it difficult to mime “Carry On Dick”!
Everyone had brought along some food and we all tucked in to the more than sufficient amount. There certainly was plenty for everyone. Thanks to all those who helped put the food out and clear away afterwards.
Those who brought along a wrapped present took one home with them, apart from one which was left when I went home. So whether one person missed out on a present or not I am unsure.
The evening ended with another small game for those who were left and then the chance for everyone to tuck into the chocolates which had been given as prizes.
