Welcome, fellow magicians, I hope you have all had a good month in magic.

Hooray they are both over, if you are like me you will be glad that Big Brother and Love Island have now finished for another year. Or that is what you are meant to think because just as they finish ruddy x-factor begins so I now have to endure 3 months of idiots that think they can sing. The only good part about it is that at least the first episodes are amusing, watching the tone deaf ones making complete fools of themselves in front of the entire viewing pubic.

Anyway onto the competition, so far I have only 2 people that have given me their names. As the competition will take place in October that only leaves one more meeting, which means that if we do not get any more names to compete we will have to cancel the competition this year. So if you have an act that you would like to enter please come and see me at the meeting or give me a call before the 8th September.

Please remember that the annual dinner is on the 17th November and so far I have not had many names of people that would like to go. So if you are thinking of coming please could you let me know ASAP.

Lastly I must apologise for the length of this page but due to work commitments I have not really had time to do anything interesting to write about.
