Welcome, fellow magicians, I hope you have all had a good month in magic.

I hope you all enjoyed the last meeting where Leeds Magical Society came over to entertain us for the night. I thought they all put on excellent entertainment, and I would like to thank any of them that are reading this page. I particularly enjoyed the dice stacking at the end, which I have not seen done before to that standard and entertainment factor.

One of the many things that the committee does is come up with ideas for the meeting nights when we do not have a lecture on. If any of you have ideas of what you would like to do on these nights please let a committee member know. It is also good to get feedback from the members so that we know we are doing a good job.

Last month I made an early plug for the dinner, so this month I thought I would promote the competition night. If any of you would like to compete this year please can you let me know. It is always good to see which skills different members possess and as the saying goes 'it's the taking part that counts'.

Well I hope you all have a great month, I know I will as I am off on my holidays with Sarah.

I hope to see a good turn out for this meeting as it is the Bob Eaton Commemorative Lecture, I never got the chance to meet Bob but I have only ever heard good things about him.
