This month Arun writes: "I did another table hopping under the caterer at a wedding dinner on the 16th February. There is another coming up this Sunday (22nd February) at lunch tables at a child's birthday party. On the 25th January I did a stage show at a local social club's function. This Saturday evening I have also a little stand up magic at a literary group of people's monthly meeting, to be held at the residence of the Indian sub-continent's most respected veteran historian, educationalist, ex-Education Minister of India Government, Dr Pratap Chandra Chandra. It will be held in a big meeting room in his palatial building in Central Kolkata. There is no payment for this, but I do come into contact with various distinguished people from our society, which invariably later on brings me various paid shows. I am delighted to tell you that I have been bestowed with the honour of Honorary Membership of the Mahatma Magic Circle for my contributions to their magazine, ORBIT, also for my general writing. The matter is mentioned in the December, January & February issues of ORBIT. My friend (Mahatma's present President) Rick Tynan has informed me in his letter that their official letter of honorary membership and the club's lapel badge will be sent to me very soon.
