Time to write already! I'm sure Keith is doing this on purpose. I forget one month and he moves the deadline forwards for the next issue!!! Hopefully this will make it to the last issue of 2005.

You may or may not be aware that as well as working on the railway (no its not my fault the rail network is crap Steve!) I am also a Special Police Officer with the British Transport Police. So as it's nearly Christmas I have decided to give you some tips on what NOT to say to a Police officer if you get stopped.

  • Is it true that people become cops because they are too dumb to work at McDonalds?
  • Thanks officer! That's terrific. The last officer only gave me a warning, too!
  • I was trying to keep up with traffic. Yes I know there is no other car around, that's how far they are ahead of me
  • What do you mean have I been drinking? Your the trained specialist
  • Hey, you must've been doin' about 125mph to keep up with me! Good job!
  • I thought you had to be in relatively good physical condition to be a police officer!
  • Yes, I know my driving is not 100%, but you have to agree that it is still pretty good for someone who is completely drunk.

    And finally if they go to read you your rights, don't sing "La La La, I can't hear you!"
